Calling all Boston foodies â the summer edition of Dine Out Boston begins this weekend, meaning itâs the perfect time to try some of Bostonâs best restaurants during this culinary celebration.
From Sun., Aug. 7-Sat., Aug. 20, participating restaurants are offering prix fixe menus for lunch + dinner, ranging from $22-46, encouraging residents to skip the dishes and let the professionals do the cooking.
Here are just a few restaurants to check out during these special two weeks.

Bacco, 107 Salem St.
Enjoy the dinner menu Sunday through Friday, featuring three-course options like crispy garlic calamari with spicy peppers, butternut squash ravioli + gnocchi bolognese for $46.
Bar âCino, 1032 Beacon St., Brookline
The special menu features seasonal options for the three courses, including grilled peaches, grilled salmon with summer vegetable panzanella, and poached plums with vanilla gelato for $36 per person.
Pazza on Porter, 107 Porter St.
The dinner menu is available Sunday through Friday for $36 per person and includes starters like fried burrata + fig and ricotta bruschetta. Pro tip: make reservations to stop by Next Door Eastie while you're in East Boston.

Make lunch reservations for Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays to try the menu available for $27. Take a look at our experience to eat with your eyes before you go.

A three-course dinner here could feature prosciutto with melon, Veal Scaloppini Limone + panna cotta for $46 per person, available Sunday through Friday.

Grab sushi for lunch with specials like two rolls for $12 + three rolls for $15.

Join the City of Boston for the official opening of Mission Hill Playground at 60 Smith St. today from 11:30-12:30 p.m.
Weâre not playing around â this park has been under construction since September 2021. The community space was established in 1913 and had a renovation budget of $2.7 million.
Whatâs new at the playground? Changes include a new basketball court, in-ground water spray features, new play equipment, and a renovated ball field. The landscape also got a refreshing update to make the park more accessible with new picnic tables, drinking fountains, trees, retaining wall, and lighting.

- A new life science lab is in under construction in East Cambridge near Lechmere Station. The four-story building will provide over 105,000 sqft of lab and office space. The One Canal Park development is expected to be completed in 2023. đď¸ (Boston Business Journal)

- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration scientists have predicted 11-18 days of high-tide flooding for Boston next year. High-tide flooding occurs when water rises above the daily average high tide point for an hour or more. From May 2021 to April 2022, Boston accounted for seven days of high-tide flooding. đ (WBUR)

- Boston-based startup Stackwell Capital Inc. has raised $3.5 million prior to launching a new app to help reduce the racial wealth gap and increase investment participation in the Black community. - Tafferâs Tavern is opening in Watertown at the end of August. The chain restaurant is owned by the âBar Rescueâ star Jon Taffer. - The renovations at Roosevelt Park in Malden are paused after the US Department of Housing and Urban Development has delayed sending $1.2 million in funding. To move forward with the $3.5 million project, the city must evaluate the residentsâ questions about the artificial turf proposal. (Boston Globe)

- The back-to-school organization Cradles to Crayons has prepared 70,000 backpacks with school essentials for students during its annual Backpack-a-thon. The organization has provided clothing and school supplies to homeless and low-income children since 2012. Donations are accepted all year long at these community drop-off locations. (7 News)
