New England Patriots announce first public dates for training camp in Foxborough
The start of the 2022 NFL season is now less than three months away and the New England Patriots have announced when they will open training camp.Veteran players are due to report to Foxborough on July 26 before conducting their first training session on the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium the following day.Patriots fans will be able to watch the first practice on July 27 and the following three practices on July 28, July 29 and July 30.Times for those practices will be updated on the team's training camp website and on the Patriots and Gillette Stadium apps in the days leading up to camp.The Patriots also announced Tuesday that public access to training camp practices will conclude when they host two days of joint practices with the Carolina Panthers on Aug. 16 and Aug. 17. New England will host Carolina for a preseason game at 7 p.m. on Aug. 19.The Pats will also travel to Las Vegas for joint practices with the Raiders prior to the Aug. 26 preseason finale at Allegiant Stadium.This year marks the 63rd annual training camp for the Patriots and their 20th consecutive camp in Foxborough.All outdoor practice sessions in Foxborough are free and open to the public. Fans who plan to attend are encouraged to check the team's website or app for daily updates. They can also call a training camp hotline at 508-549-0001.Related video
